The South Island
We have to say goodbye to the North Island, but we are really looking forward to visiting the South Island. We boarded the ferry, that would take his through Cook Strait, enter the Troy Channel, into the Queen Charlotte Sound, and disembark at Picton, on the South Island.
From our first sight of the South Island we knew that we were in for a treat. Sorry Terry, but there are no people in these shots. I've had a couple of requests for what the weather is like, so I'll try to include this in the future. Also, our internet may be spotty for the next couple of days, so I'll post when i can.
Weather for today was: Wellington 58, Picton 82 Daytime, 55 nighttime
Tomorrow 65 Daytime
