Waitomo Caves
So, our next stop won't be as thrilling as Hobbiton, but it will be more intellectually interesting. We stayed in a B&B that was run by an English couple who moved to New Zealand as young adults. We had lunch at a Buffet/BBQ place and then took a tour of the Glowworm Caves. The glowworm threads attract small flies and devour them by sucking the thread back up to their mouth.

Ooooooooh! I have always wanted to see the glow worm caves! I hear there are even places that you can go rafting thru them. Must have been incredible.
