Christchurch
For our final full day in New Zealand we explored Christchurch which included a ride on a tram that was an old cablecar that went around the downtown area. It was painfully apparent how much of the city was destroyed during the earthquake of 2011, and they are still rebuilding.

ReplyDeleteI had completely forgotten about the earthquake. That is a cool picture of the big building encased in scaffolding...it looks from the distance like a wrapped present.
