Fox Glacier

Today was a gorgeous day as there were very few clouds in the sky. A very nice day for glacier viewing, and we did that, this time at Fox Glacier. We took the path that led us through the valley that was like a walk through a Star Trek set. It changed landscape continuously and seemed more lunar than earthly.

We then took a drive to Hokitika where we would be staying two nights, preparing for our Alpine train trip that would bring us back over to the East coast of the South Island.
