Nugget Point
After getting an extra hour of sleep because, after all, it is fall down here, we drove and walked to the lighthouse at Nugget Point. There we viewed some fur seals, from high above, and checked out the "hide" we returned to later in the evening to observe the penguins. The "hide" is a small concrete shed with even smaller windows for observing wildlife.
I was totally mesmerized by the large outcroppings and the ocean lapping up on them. It was one of those moments I rarely get, when I feel I could stay in one place all day, and just listen to the waves and feel the sea breeze.
So beautiful! I see why you took a two month trip.
