Leaving Aoraki Park

So we left Aoraki Mt Cook Park and made our way along the Ohau Canal Road.  There were very few cars on this road, but we came across some bicyclers who were stopped by the very spot where they filmed some scenes from LOTR. I actually saw the tree that scratched Arwen's cheek when she was outrunning the Nazgul.😉

We eventually made it to Oamaru that has both a Blue Penguin, and Yellow Eyed Penguin colony nesting point.
